Ni Hao fellow Taiji Players,

This will be my first of many blogs in the future. Let us bring understanding to the world, or at least our own little worlds of people we know and meet, of TaijiQuan and it's true purpose. Of the understanding that the more we persevere, dedicate ourselves to our Loashi/Sifu and to TaijiQuan and to study it's teachings; that the more in doing so, we will learn about ourselves in the process and become more truly the person we were mean't to become.

Welcome

Ni Hao and Hello

To all the new students at Ming Kung Fu this Saturday, well done. You came with willing hearts and pushed yourselves.

To everyone who will be following this blog, welcome in the spirit of Kung Fu and the spirit of Martial Arts. Respect, honour and fun are important to us at Ming Kung Fu.

So play it cool and be nice.

Come and visit us even if you do another martial art, the more the merrier.
Especially at Tiger class ( link here for more info http://www.ming.co.za/class.html )

The pursuit of an ancient martial art such as Tai Chi can mean radically different things to different people. If you have never studied Tai Chi know this : it was designed for maximum effect in all areas of one`s life including combat and self-defence. Tai Chi was designed as a serious martial art and Ming Kung Fu will always teach it in this way.

Stay safe and see you in class.

"The true science of martial arts means practicing them in such a way that they will be useful at any time, and to teach them in such a way that they will be useful in all things."
Miyamoto Musashi (The Book of Five Rings: Miyamoto Musashi)
